Highway 32...Today I took the OPI. It stands for Oral Proficiency Interview and it is a standardized interview to test the student's proficiency in a foreign language. The student calls the interviewer on the telephone and talks to the interviewer for about a half an hour. Going in, I though I would be a lot more nervous about it all -- I was especially concerned about not being able to talk face to face the interviewer -- but everything turned out alright. My interview went surprisingly well and now I will just wait to hear about the results.
It is so nice to be back with Caitlin but at the same time it is just really strange to be back in the U.S. I am still adjusting to culture shock little by little...
