Malaria Pills...It's been a really exciting day. Getting ready for almost 3 months abroad means a lot of preparation, errands, and planning. Today I went to find materials for my study, more suitable clothes to take (just plain t-shirts and clothes I wouldn't mind parting with), and other miscellaneous things (hat, awesome backpack, flashlight).
Today is the first day I take malaria pills. I will take this once a day until the third week of June or so. The only side effect is sensitivity to the sun. I'll have to wear extra sun-block.

They kind of look like slices of baby carrots. Baby carrots aren't actually baby carrots though... they are just shaved into smaller carrots, which is kind of sad.
