Day 219 | Thursday, August 6 | 2009

Graveyard on the Hill...

Driving back to Athens today to settle in and get ready for Jim and Angela's wedding.  I will study a lot today but not that much tomorrow or Saturday.

I'm pumped for the wedding!  I have known Jim and Ang a long time (Jim more so than Ang) so I am excited to celebrate with them.  I am happy too because I'll get to see Caitlin on Saturday (she'll be going to the wedding too).

Day 188 | Monday, July 6 | 2009

Dow Lake...

Went on a walk today.  It was good to get out and think about things.  Sometimes we get so cloistered in our own homes and routines that it is detrimental to the inspiring reality that beautiful nature is all around us.

Today was a chastening day for me.  Realizations for self-improvement came about -- I am going to start to slowly and steadily get better.  Some of my shortcomings and faults make me sad but I am so lucky (and grateful) to have a wonderful person like Caitlin in my life.  She helps me when I am in need until the very end.  For that, I love her.

Day 24 | Saturday, January 24 | 2009

Kiln...

Today has been a really great day. Caitlin's dad Mark came to visit for OU's Dad's Weekend and we all went on a drive in the country. Here is a picture of one of the Kiln's they used to make mortar for bricks (I think). I fell asleep on the way there but was later woken up by having a Mountain Dew and a couple of chocolate cow tails.

I've got a lot of work to do tonight and tomorrow and should get to it.
