Old Baseball Park...

It is so strange to see things come and go.  This park used to be thriving and well-maintained.  I never played baseball there but I remember always seeing it as I drove by -- filled with kids in vibrant uniforms scrambling around the well-trimmed diamond.  If there ever was a pristine place to play baseball in West Chester, this place used to be it.

Now it is overgrown with weeds and the stops are all tangled and distended.  It is as if this place couldn't survive anymore.

I was really sorry to hear that this special place from your childhood was so changed. I know that must be hard to take in. However, I think it's wonderful that you can still remember how it made you feel and the significance it held for you.

Hey Adam,

Good as always catching up on your day to day. You are going to do awesome on that test, I am sure of it. Keep up the good work. Happy belated to Caitlin, too, by the way.

I was going to make the 'Empty Baseball Park' allusion but for some reason left it out. I'm so glad it made you think of that. I'm going to have to go find that CD to listen to it (it is buried somewhere in my CD folder far away right now -- not to say I don't love Whiskeytown though).
